Depot 124





Alright so Ive been working on this ghost town map for quite a while now, and i finally think its done. Its a 1v1 map and its pretty freakin small. It plays with slayer. I added lots of little walkways though so it would be harder to be camped on.
Basically what i did was i blocked off the base on ghost town (the one with the ghost) and changed that gameplay ALOT. I added a completley new story (bump free), I added some structures and other stuff.
Alright lets get on to the pic shall we
This picture shows the second story and the bottom of the map:

This is the opposite side of the bottom floor, it has a nice little bump free structure with a wooden area above it to get a different line of sight. Underneath is the invis.

This shows the man cannon that leads up to a higher wooden area(you can also get on this by going on the main structure). Also I divided that hallway which seemed to spice gameplay up a bit.

This is the third story and thats a hallway connecting to it. at the end of the hallway you can jump down to the lower area(you can also jump up that way to the third story). There is also stairs leading up here and lots of jumps so there are a lot of ways up to that story.

This is how you jump down to the other area(notice the ledge which allows you to jump up it too)

And this is the hallway that is below the third story

This is an area were that hallway leads to, which is a way to the third story, a carbine, and the middle of the map.

The carbine is in that box and this is a good little area to go recover, its also were you spawn sometimes

This is on the opposite side of the picture above

This little walkway takes you to the middle of the map

At the top of the picture is were you exit from the hallway into the middle. It also shows that in the left there is a little area kinda like the carbine on the opposite side. It even has a carbine too



Well thats basically all of the pictures i have right now
I did test this out, but my hard drive was full of pics i didnt want to delete so i just posted these and im gonna go eat dinner. I will post action pics in 30min-1 hour.

Weapon List
2x Brute Spiker 45sec 1 clip
2x SMG 45sec 1 clip
3x BR
2x Carbine
1x plasma pistol
1x needler
1x active camo place at start: no, 90 sec

It looks pretty good, a very nice idea. I don't think anyone has used this base only for a ghost town map. You have my download on this one then i'll edit my post for further critique.

Edit: It looks really good and is pretty smooth, The only thing is the way the floor slants for the one outside walkway. It's not a big deal im just a fan of straighter maps. I don't like angels that much.

Looks like someone had some fun with ghost merging, mister. At least you didn't brag about your aesthetics in the post, in that case, I'd have to go off on you ;)

This looks like a really good Ghost Town map. I had an idea of doing something like this but you seem to have crushed my ideas with this map. it has great geomerging and looks like it would flow semi-well (which is all you can hope for for ghost town. DL

oh woops forgot to mention that let me go edit my post bout how godly i am at forging. And yes ghost merging was fun on ghost town.

Ya thats one of my least favorite parts of the map, but i kinda had to in order for it to work.

Haha sorry dude didnt mean to do that, please still make your map though could be way better than mine.

WOW never seen a map this good on Ghost Town ever.. With super good Geo merging and interlocking this deserves a feature for originality. keep forging, i would love to see a map like this again.. Really good.. If you ever want to make a map together then just ask..

this map really impressed me with the flawless geo-merging, does this map hav some solid gameplay though and wat gametypes would u recommend for this map

Ive tested this out with multiple people and they all liked it. The only complaint i ever got was that it was to small, but that was before i added some walkways, which made it alot bigger. I enjoy playing on it and the games always seem to be even and fair. Also it only works for slayer, its not big enough to support any other gametype well enough

Great geomerging. You did great with the ghost glitch. I love the wooden hill with the Camo underneath it. This map is cool enough to download, no doubt. That's actually what I'm doing right now. So I'm 1v1 ing in a sec and will get back to you if my computer doesnt freeze up...

Wow, you usually dont find many forged maps on Ghost Town so I gotta give you credit for that. It looks more like an infection map, or at least if you made it that it might be a big hit. The middle of the depot, should be the starting place for humans, and in the pipes on the opposite side of the map should be where the infected spawn, but I think you should edit it to work for infection, it's got a few more touches to fix up, but I got to agree that is a very nice map compared to the items available on that map.
