Paladium

Paladium
Created by SnakeDoctor214

Supported Gametypes:
Slayer, Assault, Oddball, KOTH, Capture the Flag (1 flag or 2), and Infection

Map Description:
This is an asymmetric map built in the sky bubble over Sandbox. The blue base could be a strong hold if defended well. When you start out there is a sniper rifle, a BR, an energy drainer pretty close and a shot gun, overshield, and bubble shield aren't that far away. The Red Base is the designated spot for attackers. In this area of the map there is a needler, bruteshot, mauler, BR, Carbine, and a rocket launcher. You also have a grav lift, regenerator, and invisibility close by.

I would imagine that team slayer, one bomb, and one flag would make for some interesting games, but free for all slayer, king of the hill, and oddball would be pretty good as well.

Plenty of space and sightlines for some good close quarters combat and some long distance shooting as well.

3v3 to 5v5 would probably be best, but I'm open to suggestions if it would be better with more or less players

I'm still relatively new at forging and I'm looking for any and all feedback. Specific points of interest for me would be spawn points, sight lines, and flow of the map. Any other gametype suggestions are welcome as well, and if you found one that didn't work out too well feel free to let me know. Overall, I hope you enjoy playing the map as much as I enjoyed making it!

For being new at forging, this map is pretty tight! I love the layout and you should keep forgin'! :)

In the summer of 2010, a new hero will emerge from the shadows. His name? Well, we don't know yet. We thought you knew. :)

I just didn't like the way it looked when the wood was merged into the double block in order to make it shorter, but I have angled it a little bit and made it even on all sides now. This way, the wood isn't showing to much in the double block, and now it's even on all sides. The updated version with that minor revision is not in my file share at the moment, but I did fix it in the copy on my xbox. Thanks!
