Lockdown

Lockdown
By NeXn and KR0NIC SM0KE.

Update 4:
Version 4 released.
4 has the following changes;
  • Walls coming out of Carbine side of the bases.
  • 2 bubbles added bottom carbine.
  • DNA corner walls readded, one side geo'd to make a base jump up.
  • Tower 1 same as original Lockdown..
  • Corner wall added back Carbine.
  • Doors added A/B Carbine entrances.
  • Signs added A/B Tower entrances.
This is a map me and kronic have been working on for a long time, getting it perfect for competitive play.
The map is based off Midship, its not a remake of it.
Its a circle map, not a sqaure like every other foundry map.
Made for 4v4, TS/CTF/KOTH/Ball. CTF and KOTH run the best on the map.

Oh yeah, and you can drive a mongoose in the map.. so it meets Bungies standards!

Thanks to Killa KC for the door jumps and bottom carbine ideas, and overall tweaking of the map, really helped make the map faster and more competitive. Thanks bro!

Play the map before you post any criticism at all.

Looks sweet! You have my DL and Bnet bump. The walls and floors look immaculate! Great job with neatness.

We remade it twice. A beta map, then we made the real thing that was geo glitched and perfectly lined up.
Yes, it took that long with the testing and the remaking.

Pics aren't really good except first one kind of. If this took you 100 hours you really need to get a social life, and work on different ways of whatever your doing because it shouldn't take 100 maps to take any map. Also, if you spent 100 hours you wouldn't have the crack in picture three that makes a jump with the character instead of a smooth flow. nice first map, keep forging.

Maybe not 100 hours, but we worked our asses off on this map. Including the testing games, then yes over 100 hours.

And that time is nothing when its between 2 people and accross 3 weeks.
It didnt take 100 maps, dont know where you heard that. 1 test map, then the final.
I wouldnt have the crack in the picture? Are you serious? Its a jump up to the top level.
Seriously, play the level before posting criticism.

And..
Nice first map? Are you joking?
I made Chill Out, which has over 15,000 downloads.
Bungie played on it in a humpday and is one of the most downloaded remakes to date.
I was one of the first people to make a map interlocked and budget glitched, so you might want to think before you post.

I doubt you even know what you're talking about, so I'm not even going take your feedback seriously at all.

I was a big fan of Chill out!, and it looks like you put your considerable talents here. I'ma see how well this map plays, cause it looks quite impressive.
Could you change the link to a direct link to the map? The url is: http://www.bungie.net/forums/posts.aspx?h3fileid=30430075
