Sandbox Ruins

Ruins is my very latest map. I tried to go for a "destroyed temple" feel to it. This is only the first version, so I'm open to suggestions. Ruins is a partially symmetrical map taking up all of the crypt. The BASIC geometry is the same on both sides, but minor things and weapon spawns aren't.

To be honest it doesnt look like you have put much work into it, and the map is a little bland and the blocks look like they have been thrown down but they do offer lots of cover and the weapon balance is good, so overall not a bad map, 7/10 because even though it is a little bland it does have good cover (if that makes sence).

Sorry, but this looks and feels pretty lazy, at least compared to some of the other recent maps. But the whole clutter thing is pretty initiative once you get used to it. There certainly wasn't enough to it, though :/

Well, the place is supposed to look destroyed, so that's why the blocks are messy like that.

I do like the idea, but the cleanliness is lacking. It seems as if it took you forty five minutes from start to finish to do everything. Try to create the cover by merging objects together, instead of just leaning them up against each other. This map has some potential, but you just have to take it to the next level. Very nice job on the creativity aspect of it though.

Well, interlocking the blocks would have gone completely against what I was trying to do. If there were a a bunch of pillars that fell over in real life, would they merge into each other?
