Map Name: Rotary

Map gametypes Reccomended: Slayer, Oddball, CTF, Assault, juggernaut

Map description: Inspired by random thoughts of awesomeness, and some details refraining from guardian, Rotary was created in mind of a small, Slayer, KOTH and CTF map. The layout was thought up by non other than BipolarMushroom, who seems to specialize quite well in assymetric slayer map designs. It's compatible with nearly all gametypes. But I reccomend: Slayer, Juggernaut, Oddball, CTF, Assault. Reading on........

Map Creators:
MishappenBroom (alias: BipolarMushroom) : Thought out map layout, Map starter.

R0FLninja : Extensions of map, grass area, weapon spawns, Objective spawns, some spawns.

Dow : Spawns, starting spawns and spawn areas, advice.

Whats a Scope? : Some spawns, advice.

Gameplay: Quite fast and entertaining, as lots of slayer maps are, 1 flag is a blast, and the aesthetics of the map not only look good, but make important impacts into the maps gameplay.

Hey ROFLninja and bipolar mushroom, It's me... Whiteskulleton... here to review your map.

What I like: Surprisinly enough, the map was a pretty good 2v2 CTF map. How ever you would probably need the same settings as MLG CTF. It also was very creative. Your have great creativeness and originallity but not enough buget. What I mean to say is that you have enough cover and you did really well with the placements of the weapons and the spawn settings of the weapons. And somehow you got the spawns to work so that there wasn't any spawn killing. Which you have what's a scope? to thank for that.

What I don't like: I think I have said this to you guys a thousand times... The map doesn't look complete. From the turret to the brute shot looks like part of the map is missing. I know you can't place anything else on the map but I think that there is a glitch for that. The other thing that I don't like is that the sniper rifle doesn't spawn on the map until 90 seconds. At least I think. You should probably relocate the sniper so that everybody can get it at the beginnig.

I give your map a 4/5. Oh yeah, please stop double posting and only edit your post that way others can have a chance for there map to get noticed.

Glad to see you finally posted this. I only got to play one actual game on this and when I did, it was pretty fun. The map has some well placed points of interest such as the camo spawn as well as some interesting flow. My only complaint would be the sniper spawn in it's exclusivity to the attacking team, but it didn't disrupt gameplay too much. Another thing to add is that the aesthetics fit together, giving the map a unique design style that many maps in the sky bubble lack.

Overall I give this map a 4/5. Great Work Rofl and MishshapenBroom

Ohaithar Rofl! Damn, did you get enough attention for this map or what? Naw.. I kid, I kid. But really, this map needs more attention than what it has recieved so far. Although we didn't exactly play a real match, so I can't judge gameplay. I still love Rotary. All the tactical jumps are sweet to use, and actually provide the player with an advantage over the other players whom don't know them. Your map is unique Rofl, and I'm not going to lie, but I love the blue base. The sniper rifle is placed in a section of the map that isn't overpowering, and that's always the perfect place for a power weapon.

4.99999/5 mudkiperz because of that place I found. You know that one place right?

But rounded up, I'm rating this thread a 5...

  • There may be a v2 instead of an updated version of this map
  • A blue light and red light have been put at each base.
