Hectic, Shikari and Solidarity.

Hectic;

The first of the three new maps ive been working on since march..

Hectic is a small close quarters map..
So if you love long range Br battles maybe this isnt the map for you.
A combination of long lines of sight and tight corners make this map
very interesting; if your abushing the enemy in slayer or trying to capture the flag there are many routes to do so..

Hectic supports 2 - 8 players. any more than 8 is abit hectic ;)
Recomended gametypes are; Fiesta, Swords, CTF and Doubles.
Supports:
Team Slayer
CTF
Oddball
(more to come soon)

Now Weapons:
Assult Rifle - 2 - 30secs - 2 spare clips
Battle Rifle - 4 - 30secs - 2 spare clips
Shotgun - 2 - 120secs - 1 spare clip
Smg - 2 - 30secs - 2 spare clips
Spiker - 2 - 30secs - 2 spare clips
Plasma Rifle - 2 - 30secs
Needler - 45secs - 2 spare clips
Energy Sword - 1 - 150secs
Beam Rifle - 1 - 120secs

Frag Grenades - 4 - 30secs
Plasma Grenades - 8 - 30secs
Bubble Shield - 1 - 60 secs
Regenarator - 1 - 60 secs
Power Drain - 2 - 60secs

Overshield - 1 - 150secs
Active Camo - 1 - 150secs

Shikari;

Shikari is the second map to show off, its build deep in the crypt of sandbox. It's a symetrical map with a centre bridge and many passageways for escape or ambush.

Players 4 - 12. This map plays well with 4v4 but shines when you play with 6 players on each team..
Recomended gametypes; Big Team Battle, CTF, KOTH and Team Snipers.
Supported Gametypes:
CTF
Team Slayer
Oddball
KOTH
(Assult to be added soon)

Weapons:
Battles Rifle - 7 - 30secs - 2 spare clips
Shotgun - 2 - 120secs - 2 spare clips
Sniper Rifle - 1 - 120secs - 2 spare clips
Spiker - 4 - 30secs - 2 spare clips
Plasma Rifle - 4 - 30secs
Needler - 2 - 45secs - 2 spare clips
Brute Shot - 2 - 60secs - 2 spare clips
Rocket Launcher - 1 - 150secs - 2 spare clips
Energy Sword - 1 - 150secs
Carbine - 4 - 30secs - 2 spare clips
Mauler - 2 - 45secs - 2 spare clips

Frag Grenades - 4 - 30secs
Plasma Grenades - 7 - 30secs
Bubble Shield - 2 - 60secs
Power Drain - 1 - 60secs

Solidarity;

My final map to show you is Solidarity, it's set in the sky bubble and is an asymetrical mid range map. ( lots of Br battles )
My favourite Gametypes to play on this map have to be; KOTH, Team Slayer and Shotty Snipers is by far amazing fun for the mix of long lines of sight and close range corners.
2 - 8 player preferably.
Supported Gametypes;
Team Slayer
CTF
Oddball
KOTH
(adding assult and VIP soon)

All of them look decent enough, so I'm just going to concentrate on the most obvious issue, taken from the third map. It is probably too late to change, and it won't obstruct gameplay too much, but it isn't a good idea to use walls as floors, as they tend to become rather bumpy during gameplay.

The only other suggestion would be to interlock a bit more to remove cracks between different bits of the map, as those tend to eat grenades. The particular example here is the gap between the second and third wedge from the wall in the red structure.

Overall, however, the average for the three maps would be 4.3/5, with the second one being the best.

This is the first time I have seen three maps in one post on Forgehub. These maps look very good, but I have to agree with Flying Dice, with the cracks and wall floors. My only other concern is the camping. You could just sit next to the sword and pwn anyone that tries to cross. 4/5

T-T I don't have enough room in my sig to explain the game T-T

Uh captain, the only time you should post several maps in one post if they relate to each other. And they seem pretty independent of each other so it should have been 3 different posts. It makes it easier on us to critique them.

Or if you want to see the benefit for you, many hubbers interested in there post counts will have a tendency to say "these maps" instead of "this map." And since "these maps" have no relation whatsoever, i'd say your constructive criticism goes down the drain, no?
