Wow

Alright first off i'd like to say. I have every single map you've made so far on my hardrive. Every map you make is amazing in not only Aesthetics but also gameplay. This is another feature worthy map of yours! Keep em coming.

-King

Ps. Just out of curiosity how many maps of yours have been featured so far?

*edit* i just played it with my friends online and we had a blast. The gameplay is fantastic.

Head to my FILESHARE to see other unposted Stuff.

I'm not going to lie this map looks godly I truly think this should be featured.... it is superb forging and the gameplay looks awesome and they aren't many big team battle maps so that is another plus... keep making awesome maps!

The one thing I would do is redesign is the nuclear reactor, I just don't like it, and there is probably a better way to do it. It's like the fine woman mentioned previously with an early case of herpes. Horrible, but curable.

Or 100/100 if you may.
You'll have to ask RunTime about the geomerging. He handled the merging of both elevated base towers into the sand. I only geomerged one of the side rooms on the blue base. From his description of the process, and from my experience with merging the side room, I can tell you that there is no simple trick. It is a frustrating, time consuming, hit or miss process that can only be accomplished through pure patience and persistence.

This map was built using a Canvas that was both budget glitched and OLN stacked.

seacrest out.
Thanks for the DL silence. LOL at the Recon advertising in my post. I just couldn't help myself. I was getting ready for my last round of testing and in pops Chips daunting his shiny new suit of armor. I ended up using him in 3 of my 30 or so pictures in the OP. In my defense all of the shots he is in do showcase architecture on the map. I work in sales and my advertising mind knew that it would be foolish not to take advantage of the "Recon Factor" at least a little bit. You totally busted me on it, though.

I'm anxious to hear your thoughts on the map after you've checked it out.

The weapon layout seems good, Sandbox with Snipers, so it shouldnt be bad to play. There seems to be a large fixation and emphasis on gameplay according to your post which matters so Im gonna check it out for sure..
Thanks, Zombie. We figured that Bungie probably spent a lot of time testing weapons for their default version of Sandbox which has the same vehicle count. Why mess with what works, right? We took out one Missle Pod and added 2 Snipers. I think it has been working great so far.

There is an adequate amount of cover, and the middle structure does a great job of limiting the lines of sight from base to base. The weapon/vehicle placement seemed good, although vehicles were rarely used. No weapon was terribly overpowering, and while it seemed like you could easily camp in your base with the rockets and sniper, it never happened. The only pint-sized problem I found was that the kite-shaped hole on the red side of the center structure is just big enough for you to drop down through (although you have to spin around and suck in your gut), but the hole on the blue side isn't big enough to allow this. I'm sure this would rarely, if ever, affect gameplay, and the size difference isn't noticeable, but I just thought I would let you know. I'm sure I will enjoy playing on this again and again. Great job on a wonderful map.
Wow. We didn't know if anyone would notice the red kite hole, at least not this fast. Like you said, because it is so difficult to maneuver yourself down into it, we didn't picture it affecting the gameplay at all, so we left it in. Thanks for the positive feedback.

Congratulations! You won the Red Kite Hole Easter Egg Hunt!

Hum, I like it. It's definatly original, I haven't seen anything like the middle structure before, or the two base things, or those weird 4 pillar what ever you want to call 'em things, heck, the whole map is original. This is the best I've seen in a while. Great job. Seams like it might be a little I don't know, borring for gameplay, but its' nice to look at. 10/10. Nice pictures too.

As a tester, this map is fucking insane.
Everything aesthetic is astounding, and it plays extremely well.
This is a sure bet for consideration, if not feature. Check with Atlas standards, here, to see if it works, cause damn.

Oh and if you see a blue ODST helm, thats me. But currently it appears im left out.

<Thanks Huntar!
Why hello there

Sorry you got left out of the screenshots. I'm glad you had fun testing this one. Unfortunately the map is budget glitched so we won't be able to submit to Atlas. We needed to used a glitched canvas to build a map of this size with mostly smaller objects.

Fun Fact* - DuneScape was built without using even one double block.

It's the picture that bookends the top and bottom of the post. It reads "Download DuneScape".

First, with no need to say, very good aesthetics. A few unique things and It looks like it would make great for CTF or other objective gametypes. I'm not 100% sure about slayer yet I guess I'd have to test it.
