Emotive

Emotive is a medium small asymmetrical
Sandbox map perfect for 2-10 players.
The central area contains the overshield
and bubble shield and is bordered by the
tunnels which can be very useful for escaping
with the flag. Emotive has a lower red side
with the Spartan Laser and the blue side is
much taller and contains the Sentinel Beam.
A neat feature of the map is that you can ride
the mongoose from the red base to the blue
side and jump it through the circle right onto
the blue flag. There's also a few br's around.
This map took 20 hours to build using the
Sanbox Official Canvas located on Forgebattle.com

Weapons
Spartan Laser (red side)
Sentinel Beam (blue side)
Mauler (center)
Vehicles
Mongoose (red side)
Equiptment
Overshield (center)
Bubble Shield (center)
Supported gametypes
Slayer
Oddball
King of the hill
Capture the Flag

Good job, this looks very well made and planned. I like the usage of the tubes and the tin cup. I think the goose would work well on this and I think this would be perfect for doubles

Strangley i think the Mongoose would do very well on this map. It may be a smaller map, but its long and skinny. Perfect for a mongoose.

I didn't really plan this map at all. I just made it gradually over weeks, making sure it was balanced. One of my main goals with this map was to work on aesthetics as well as gameplay...

Though the mongoose is a very entertaining addition to the map, it is actually very useful for getting across the map quickly. Please let me know after playing what can be improved with this map. I'm always glad to hear some constructive criticism!

Wow I am surprised this map hasn't recieved more feedback. When live is back up I will DL this and give a full review.

From your pictures your map looks AMAZING!! Alot of people say that aesthetics are unimportant, but I disagree. I mean they are not crucial but to me something that sets a map of visually is important and makes the map appealing to play on. Everything looks smooth and well done so I have no reason to think it would play badly.

I will post again with a full review after I have a run around on it :)

I am really excited about the aesthetic possibilities on sanbox. There are tons of different options, and many great maps can be built that wouldn't have been possible with foundry. I would love to make this map as perfect as possible, so send me a friend request if you want. I have three spaces left and would love some friends that wanted to test.

This post is spam. You can't just say the map is good, you should first dl and have a forgethrough then give me feedback on what is perfect and what needs more work. Also, the posts on my other maps could also get you infracted, because they are necro posts; you can't post on a map after two weeks of a thread being inactive. I'm glad you like my maps, you just need to work on your posts a bit more, I wouldn't want you to get banned.

Yeah crazyzebu I would love to help you test out your map. Maybe could get your help with a few things on my map too if your up for it :)

I will be jumping onto Halo soon so I can get a good look at your map. One thing though. I tryed typing in your name on xbox.com to send you a FR and it says GT doesn't exist. So just tell me your tag here or just shoot me a FR. I am in Australia so timezone may be an issue, but I am on at some weird hours sometimes so it should be OK. I see your also on west coast of US, which is much better for me connection wise as we are a little closer :)

Great! Yeah, I'm pretty busy, but we should test sometime this weekend... My gt is crazy zebu You probably just forgot the space, that's why it didn't work.

I tested my map a bit yesterday and it definitely wasn't perfect, but whatever. That's what testing is for....

I had a good forge through your map and I have to say that overall it is very well built.

The first thing that stood out to most was your use of the lighting effects. Often when people use them (myself included)
they always seem to be overbearing and just too bright. Your placement give your structures a really nice "glow", instead of them being over saturated with colour.

Your structures are very well designed and make it wherever you look you can easily identify which parts of the map are what. I loved the centre structure the most, it was just something about that radiant glow it gave out which really made it.

I have one little suggestion but if you think its a terrible idea, thats ok :). You could tilt back the two ramps at the back of blue base, put a man cannon on it and give the map a fourth tier..Just an idea.

The love the Sentinel beam but only if I have it. I have never really used it in a game, but I could see it tearing everything in sight to shreds.

Ok a couple of criticisms. Personally I would have interlocked more of the map, but thats just my personal preference, it doesn't take away from the quality of the map. Everything that needed to be interlocked, like the aesthetic structures, was, as the look of this map is its biggest selling point at the moment.

Oh and those two interlocked ramps at the back of red base could use a little straighten up and just a few little gaps here and there in the floor, but if these are my own critiques of your map, it means you have made an excellent map, as perfection in forge is very elusive.

Overall great job and I look forward to having a few games on it with you :).
