Imagine this, say SoulCrusher designed and pieced together Snowbound, okay. Now I'm the person who went in and made it Boundless, two maps that look nearly the same, but play completely different. I'm not sure if I can make this any clearer.

To the Forgehub community as a whole...

Forgehub is a joke anymore. People get on, look at pics, then comment without even downloading and much less trying it out in an actual game.

Nobody in here even dears to read text, they just see the pics and comment. Not realizing that this is not a new map and has undergone alot of changes but yet they comment on the pics and say, wow, cool looking map! This is the best Sandbox map ever! Qued to download (even though they didn't even bother to do that). Frick'n joke...

Let it be clear, I posted this map strictly for user feedback, this map is in the "Competitive Maps" listing not "Aesthetic Maps" so if you think it is the greatest forging you have ever seen PM SoulCrusher NP about it, I'm sure he'd appreciate it a lot more than myself.

I am a lot more focused on getting this map into MatchMaking, and what the best combination of weapons/equipment/vehicles/spawns should be used, and this is where you as a Forge Hub member come in, your here because you are interesting in making maps play to their full potential.

I originally saw this map and said, "Damn, this is a Kick-ass map," so I then got in touch with SoulCrush NP to see what I could do to make this map play as well as it Forged. I then wanted to post it so the community could help make this map even better, so someday we all can play it in MatchMaking. I'm understanding that most people don't give a damn about this, and this is why you see so few good User Created Maps in MatchMaking.

Sorry dude, the only time I have ever seen this map was while playing it. I never knew who actually made it.

That issue wasn't really directed to you but to over 50% of the people who replied to this map (and don't bother reading anything except map title to click on it).

This couldn't be anymore true, especially here at FH. (A place of popularity and politics, not forged maps)

Tribal Wars is an amazing map. I've played it a few times in different people's parties, but I didn't remember what the name of the map was and I missed the original map post. I think this map is superior to your two most recent maps. Tribal Wars has a very unique look and the flow of movement around the map is smooth. I especially like the grav lift entrance through the middle of the bases. It is really nice of luckeas to work on perfecting the gamelplay for a MM opportunity.

Soulcrusher, what do you have to be so cynical about? You just got here. Why would you be ready to slam the entire community, especially when you've gotten such a warm reception to your maps? Why are you so pissed?

Sadly this is true, if people haven't heard of you then your map isn't worth looking at. I have seen so many maps that deserve so much better than the spam they get, and I've seen maps that were awfully boring and plain and they get a ridiculous ammount of replies. Why is that?

Just because I registered finally this year, doesn't mean I've been around only that long. This map is a place of forging, and a way to help each other get better, at least that was what it use to be anyways. Must I really go through all the posts that are spam and and all the maps that have been submitted that have taken less than an hour to make. Mods don't control this site anymore, noobs do. Must I say more?

I walked around the map in a custom Slayer setting and it seems nicely laid out. I drove a Hog around without much difficulty. I did manage to easily get a Hog stuck in a gravity lift from below. Couldn't get it out either.

Noticed Z-fighting in "several" horizontal areas. Quite noticeable and I wasn't looking for it.

From this post I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing, if you could clarify if this is good or bad and why you think either or I'd appreciate it.
The z-fighting was noticeable to the point of distraction. I would characterize it by saying it was inappropriate rather than bad. I'm not talking about one little flicker but several medium sized horizontal patches flickering away. It wouldn't affect game play but people would notice. I read where Shishka noticed these things on other maps and he will certainly notice the ones I saw.

I have no idea what an acceptable level of z-fighting is. Only Bungie can make that decision.

Z-fighting = two object surfaces fighting to be seen thus causing a flicker effect.
To update "Z fighting" issue; I spent several hours trying to completley get rid of it, but right when I thought I got rid of it I would save my map variant and test it in customs and it would switch it around. Now there is a minimal amount of "Z fighting" I got rid of most of it the best Halo 3 would let me.

Side Note

Here is a Walk through of Tribal War 2.5. This is a rendered-to-video Bungie Pro video (only those who pay for Bungie Pro can view it apparently.) This is for those who don't have time to download and walk-around it themselves.
