Street V2



Hello everyone. I'm back with my second version of Street, Street V2! All of your helpful tips and comments have been piled up and examined and I tried to fit your requests. I think I got most of them, although since of my stupidness of deletion on infinite-money glitch maps, could not include maulers. :( sad-face. But look on the bright side, things have changed. Just scrool down to the list of changes.

CHANGES

- Removed Trip Mine
- Moved Fire Bomb to Rocket Launcher spawn
- Warthog spawns 3 minutes into the game and only in symmetrical games does it spawn
- New Super-Wall that's INESCAPABLE (I think...)
- Better/more spawns
- Scenery slightly changed for budget efforts
-More visible interlocking of all the walls and everything is perfectly interlocked
- Snipers have 1 extra clip and spawn every 150 seconds
- Shotguns have no extra clips and spawn every 180 seconds
- Carbines now spawn every 45 seconds
-CTF and Assault gametypes fixed

DESCRIPTION

Street is a fairly large, symmetric-based map that very good for team games, and plays anything but infection. Team games like Team Slayer, CTF, Assault, Territories, and etc. are very good on this map. The scale of this map ranges from the low dark back alleyways in the shadows of the buildings towering over them to the high rooftops of a hotel. The balance flows nicely, as the buildings look different, but are equally fit to match both teams. There are 6 buildings: A hotel, a bar, a gas station, a department store, and 2 little warehouses. The overall asthetic touches to this map are very pleasing to the eye. The building walls are interlocked completely perfect, and the floors are practically bumpless. It's unbreakable too. It took a whopping 72 hours to make and is one of my best yet.

STORYLINE

You and squad rush into the heart of the Russia's capital, Moscow. It's WWIV, and Russia along with many other places have been bombed and bombarded with artillery of all sorts from all places around the globe. You, a insurgent of the Yermakov commision, rush to a street that has yet to feall to the nuclear deathbringers. Civilians have fled the country and there is not one sign of life in the god damn ghost town. You don't settle too easy too that. But what the hell, fuck it, and you move up to capture the small city. But a Covenant Corvette Supercarrier flies overhead. You have not met the covenant yet. This is their first arrival. They will stop at nothing to kill you, for whatever the reason. Now you have a new enemy to face and don't back down now, because this will ultimately be your grave...

I personally think that this map looks amazing! Some of the best structures I have ever seen, and amazing interlocking. I love how realistic everything looks, and the overall design for it. The hotel and department store look awesome, and the bar looks like it has a cool tunnel entrance. The only thing is that the warehouse doesn't really look like a warehouse, more just a small building.

You did a great job pulling off an urban feel. I really wanted to make a house-to-house style map like this, but I failed hard. I'm so glad that something like this got made. I'm downloading right after I write this comment.

wow this map looks really good its perfect for cnr if only it had a jail i think that this map is by far one of the best maps ive seen for a while good map.
Also the forgeing quality in this is really good most of the fusing is perfect.

wow this is cool, this is kinda like an urban styled slayer/objective map. really reminds me of COD4. any slayer/objective maps with a great theme or aesthetic touch has my DL
