Compound
Compound is an asymmetric map for asymmetric gametypes. The map supports One Flag, One Bomb, Territories and One Sided VIP.
The map has been tested a lot and the balance between fun and competitive gameplay is just about right.
Reccomended player count: 6 - 12 players.
Reccomended gametype is default One Flag with 4 vs 4.

Grenades have been placed effectively around the map.

im deffinaly downloading this map, it looks very even in sides and is open which i like for BR start games. good job on the map ! :) first post :)

Lol. Recon can has meatshield?
This map looks pretty fun for a one-sided objective, although I'm not too sure about the fence walls around it since the defenders can see every move by the attackers. You might wanna make that into walls or boxes so the attackers have more cover. But if you tested it as much as you say, I'm guessing that its pretty balanced and I will just have to see for myself. From the pictures I would have to give it a 6/10 just because there isnt really anything spectacular there, but thats just from the pictures, and I know that gameplay is the most important thing, so when I get live back, I'll give this map a go.

nice layout, also i like the sniper window in the base, the map looks breakable on the fence walls u can grenade bounce right over them.. unless thats what u were going for , maybe u should stack them higher... anyway i give 4-5 looks very fun
ps. nice merging on the back wall

I also like the layout of the map, but why does this look like an infection map to me?
Everything is completely asymmetrical, which is good. The fenced in area really stands out from the rest of the map, mainly because it fits the map name, Compound.

Before I say anything else, I have to say this map has, hands down, some of the best interlocking, geomerging, and basically just straight objects, that I have ever seen. I just forged around the map, searching for about five minutes, fruitlessly, trying to find something crooked, or something that was flickering or glitchy. Needless to say I failed epicly. Now for the aesthetics, they are incredible pleasing to the eye, despite all of the amazing structures and weapon setups you put into this map. They are all beautifully placed, and I have to say that it really makes the map pleasing to the eye. And finally, the thing I am most proud of you for, is doing it all without unlimited budget glitching. That there almost sells me the map by itself. I really love to see forgers make a great map, without having to glitch their way to do it. The only thing I don't like is lack of cover for defenders. The only way I could think of to fix this, is to give them a few deployable covers, or a bubble shield or two. If you are doing a V2 of this, or if you are making any new map, hit me up and I would be very glad to help.

I like the idea of a one side a map with a compound in a corner. The entrance looks great and the other buildings do too. However you have several problems. It seems that the only way into the base is through the main gate. But before the attackers can get there the defenders get to shoot at them with a turret as they run across the open. The defenders also have a sniper and lots of good cover which will make attacking difficult. I suggest that you make another side gate and then maybe a bridge over one part of the fence wall. Maybe merge some walls into the ground in fron of the base as well in order to give them more cover but keep the sighline at standing height.

i agree there should be more entrances mayby sneaky ones like a gravity lift and aswell as a great competitive game you could make another version with infection good work :) 4/5
edit: in one of your pitures of the outside of the base i noticed there was a door sticking out of a box (the whole thing looked like a sort of tower and had a overshield in the wall) you could crouch jump onto the door and then hop on the fence and your in!

umm dude, this map has already been done before, The gate enterance is the same, the fence wall is the same, the rooms and objects inside the base are the same, and the name is even the same, I know for a fact this is. I think you remade someone elses map they look pretty much identical.

I'm sorry to say, man, but myshot is right. I HAVE seen an exact replica of this map before. A few months ago, to be exact. It might just be the world's 21st largest coincidence, but it isn't likely. If you did make the map, i congratulate you on the great work, if not on originality of any sort. If the map IS actually yours, I'll give it a 4/5. If not, then I'll give a 4/5 to its original creator.
