Tight

Tight
version 1.1

Map Description:
This map is full of tight spaces and tons on action!
I have tested this many times (about 7 or 8) and I think that it's fairly balanced.

One of the cooler features about this map is that the teleporters take
you above foundry, onto the rafters!
Although you may think this is unbalanced, there is absolutely no cover on the rafters!
So you can just BR snipers noobs that camp up there.

Aslo, note that most of the map is under ground, and that being up top only grants a small view of the battlefield.

Map Download:Here.

Power Weapons:Brute shot, Sword, Needler, Sniper, Rocket launcher and Spiker (it's powerful!).
Vehicles:Ghost
Game types: Slayer, Capture the Flag, Oddball and King of the Hill.

Notes:
Made by url00.
As far as I know, you can't get stuck as a person when walking down below.
However, you can get stuck as a monitor, just keep that in mind.
This is not a maze map! (IMHO - you might think it is)
If the pictures don't load, refresh the page a few times.

Re: Tight

I like very much. When you tested it, did you have the Radar on?

Re: Tight

Looks very nice. One thing I would point out that if the boxes and walls are not interlocked, interlocking them would be a nice touch, but it still looks good. How'd you get up to the rafters?

Re: Tight

It looks like one helluva maze.. and maze maps are fun with no radar. I don't know bout being up top and all that, but just the bottom looks fun to run around in blastin peeps.

Sleep.. OH! How I loathe those little slices of death..

I normally play all Custom Maps with no radar. However, if you intended for the radar to be used, the gameplay would/could be different that if you had not intended radar use. I've played maps in the past (wish I could remember the name) that suggested radars. When I turned them off the game seemed to suffer a tad.

I can't really place my finger on the nuance that was affected, I just want to play it as it was intended to be played; at first...
