Classic Turf


This is not your typical Turf remake, I took time making sure everything is just right. This level was accomplished by using the unlimited money glitch and interlocking of objects. With the limited space of Foundry, I've managed to re make Turf as close as I could get it. This version contains the default Halo 2 weapon spawns. I've also kept the extra weapons and equipment in the back rooms so it can be altered to your liking (just be sure not to delete anything because you wont be able to get it back.)

I've made Turf compatible for every game type. Some recommendations

Slayer, Team Slayer, Oddball, 1 Flag, 1 Bomb, Flag Rally, Crazy King

looks real good, im downloading now. You said that u made the weapon spawns the same as in halo 2, but are the flags and hills also the same?

Looks like a fairly good remake of turf, but you should change the title of this thread to just "classic turf" Its the rules around here and helps keep the forums clean looking.

I think that is as close anyone will get to Turf on Foundry. Good Job. I think you should experiment with diferent ways to make the medic tent, because alot of the fights took place there and where the warthog is. Great map still.

One thing I really like about this map is the palette door entrance you have to the garage. People have been struggling on how to handle this, and I think you have found the best solution for it. A few things that I thought could be improved upon were the medical tent and the wall floors you have placed. I think if you took a double open box, turned it upside down and merged it into the ground, it would almost perfectly replicate the medical tent from Halo 2, and you wouldn't need to use those bridges you're currently using. The wall floors seem to be uneven with the boxes and create a little jumping effect when you need to walk over them. I found that to get the correct height with these walls that I needed to stack a dumpster sideways, and then place a door directly on top of it. Then if you place the wall panel directly on the door it should give you nearly the same height as the boxes and will help create a smoother transition between the two.

Thank you for the feedback, I have tried other ways for the medic tent and this was the best I could get it without pulling other objects to replace it, I will look into these for another version for the future.
