Das Büro

The Idea
German Terrorists have taken over The Bureau and a nearby warehouse, and are trying to find valuable intel. The SWAT team must breach the building and eliminate the threat. Teamwork is essential. Asymmetric 4-16 players.

How its Played
This works best with One Bomb Assault, Territories and Team Slayer. Works with all gametypes.

Re: Das Büro

Whats with the eye-gouge in picture 5? And picture 2, the pallet behind a shield door behind a teleporter? I may have to try this but I already know a certain complaint--messy. The bridges are screaming at your retinas and there is a lot of misalignment.

I think Lukems lied...we'll see.

Re: Das Büro

If you are referring to the bridges above the Warehouse, they are placed in such a manner that allows for a hole for the terrorists to look and shoot through effectively, but you can't jump through it.

The bridges are angled to give the illusion of a roof.

If you actually play, you will be impressed with how straight things really are. Walls, floors, and otherwise.

As for the Shield Door/pallets/teleporter, the shield door is so you can't beat the pallets down from the outside. It is essentially a wall that can only be completely destroyed with the mines provided. When you bust them down, I put a teleporter on the other side to hold all the debris in place. Making it intentionally difficult to get through, as it is much easier to get to the objectives through the Warehouse than the Bureau.

^^It's pretty obvious you need the map to play is it not?"^^

LoL..anyways, no offense, but this looks like most every other giant building. Your description isnt very entailing and doesn't really suggest there [i]IS anything unique on your map compared to all those others. Also looks a bit sloppy to me, but you say it is actually straight, so who knows..

Re: Das Büro

Hmmmm. This is unlike anything I have ever seen. I mean it is a weird design on the outside which makes it eye-catching. I like the little Testimonials although Im am quite sure obviously Lukems didnt say the Bungie Favorites or the Recon. Although the world hunger thing sounds like him.

Re: Das Büro

Yeah, pretty obvious I made that stuff up... Aside from the Carlin quote, of course.

Re: Das Büro

Looks like it has a good balance between small and open spaces, and those SWAT trucks are really cool. The tower is also very... inspiring.

Re: Das Büro

Thanks, as far as I know, the SWAT trucks are an original idea. The really add to the premise of the map.
