Hello everyone!

Overview

My 4th map is finally finished. Lost Echo is a small symmetrical map built for team based objective games for around 2-6 players. The map is enclosed by a dome shaped roof, which gave me the idea of the name "Lost Echo".

The map can be played with any gametype but I suggest CTF, assualt, land grab and Team king.

Weapons

4x Battle rifle
2x Sniper
1x Hammer
2x SMG
2x Plasma rifle
4x Plasma Grenade
4x Frag Grenade

Equipment

2x Deployable Cover
1x Power Drain

I could never make anything crap enough to get on Bungie favorites.

I'm not new here, I just don't post to anything but my own threads. Don't give me this "aww its only his first map, keep trying!" Junior member means NOTHING. I have 4 maps and 2 pictures on Forge hub, ALL of them got 4+ stars. So don't overlook something just because you think the user is new.

ohh cool, you posted it. A few days ago I had a quick 1v1 with Linubidix. It played reasonably well.

Good,
1# The structure of the map is very well made. Curves and roofs can be a pain.
2# The gameplay was good, but it played a bit too much like conquest for my liking.
3# Plenty of cover and weapons.

Bad,
1# The gameplay was like conquest. If you want to change that, you might want to delete one of the doors so you can go back into the hallway. This will also give the ninjas something to shine about.
2# The Grav Hammer and Power Drainer were too close together.

I am yet to play with a full party, so I will get back to you when I do.

Oh, I remember seeing this the other day when you sent a message to your file share.
I've had a forgethrough but no serious games on it yet.

Weapons seemed very balanced and fitting, only thing I'd question is the power drain and hammer being so close together. Althogh Hammer is a one shot kill either way, so I guess it'll work fine.

Forging was great. The dome in the central area was the highlight for me. You should've posted pictures of your wonderful wall merge in the back alley. Trust me; people love to see that kind of stuff. I really reccommend getting a pic of it, it'll increase people's interest. The way that you've pushed the boxes a little bit into the ground was an excellent decision, it makes it look a lot more professional and it helps with gameplay with no chances of nades getting caught.

The layout was nice too. But its as if it is a conquest map, what'd be cool is if you were able to sneak around from behind. So free up the inner doors to the back alley, block off most of it so the player can only access the two doors. It'd add to the fun, IMO.

I thought this was a very nice map. Very well thought out with gameplay in mind.

That merging in the 'base' was a pain... I've never yelled so many swear words at a video game before lol

Hammer and power drain IMO work well because the power drain is useless to a hammer guy. Though I might take it out and try a game and see if it changes gameplay at all.

And freeing the back alley is something I never thought of... guess I wanted everyone to fight in the middle area but now that I think of it it would probably be better for gameplay so i'll test that too.

i like the layout and the interlocking VERY much. also the wep placements are also good. you could geo-merge the single boxes though. it would make it look better.

I don't know why. but that dome in the middle of the map just gets to me, its really cool! I hope to see another map from you soon! this ones pretty good
