Gronlandic Edit

Map Title: Gronlandic Edit

Download Gronlandic Edit

Description:
IWell, I suck at doing descriptions but I'll give it a try:P

Alright, this map variant is a built on Foundry and supports SLAYER and INFECTION game types.
There's one main base towards the center of the level which is three "stories?" tall. The bottom level is connected threw a tunnel, which has two entrances. To get up the the building you have to pick up the gravlift which has a 40 spawn rate, I did this to insure that not everyone can just rush into the building and hide. There's a wall of crates with some weapons on it. I scattered the weapons to what I felt felt balanced. A key sniping spot is the top level of the main base. I encourage some exploring on my level because I tried to hide items and even a base so be on the look out. Please don't base your opinion of my map on the horrible description:/

update: more screen shots.

- Main overview of building.

-A entrance.

-Behind the crates.

-Inside secret base.

-Beat 'em up crate wall.

-B entrance.

-Zombie Attack

p.s. If you guys have fun playing it, you should send me a game invite some time so we can play ;]

Re: Gronlandic Edit

The wall of crates with the sole design of being knocked down by a hammer was neat, and the whole look of the middle area is great.

Didn't care too much for the outer areas though, they just seemed like an after thought.
The underground areas cool, haven't seen any place that tight before.
The weapons seem overpowered, I'd rather the weapons on the map be like those on The Pit.

there's just too many power weapons too close to each other, odds are you wanted it to be like that but I never found that kind of game very fun.

Looks cool, I be it would even bee fun for King of the Hill. I'll try this out when I get a chance. Nice work.

If you try hard to succeed at something, and you don't accomplish it, you must not be trying hard enough.

Yeah, I'm honestly not good at setting weapons..
I guess I'll try to balance the weapons out and re-upload.
Oh, did you find the little base that has teleporter?

Re: Gronlandic Edit

This looks pretty cool. I always like maps that have a main area with tunnels underneath it.

Re: Gronlandic Edit

Then I'm thinking you might like this one.

Anyone have any ideas on how to improve the map!?

Re: Gronlandic Edit

Looks pretty cool. But 40 sec respawn for grav lift? Is that even psychically possible?
