Thanks for all the positive replies guys. Thank you for putting together a review of the map Blood much appriecated and thanks for a mega post Pegasi. All issues have been logged and i will keep them in mind for my next map.

cam0flaug i don't mind you giving criticism but could you please say what you think i could improve on otherwise its a rather wasted comment in my opinion. Since the map has gone down so well with people so far, im looking forward to my next project, i have to try and see if i can top this map!!

My next project is going to be a joint map with Pegasi Delta. So its not really my next project more our next project.

Oh I'm looking foreword to that! You should see my on going project I have been working like crazy at. Its a symmetrical map, I don't normally make them so I thought I should give it a try. Its almost completed.

I feel horrible.

I could have sworn I commented on this map already.

=[

Anyways, I love what you've done here. The structures give the biggest feeling of urban warfare I have seen to date. There is exquisite interlocking all throughout the images, unfortunately, I rarely have time for the xbox nowadays, otherwise I'd have given it a download, and would give you a much more in depth review of your beautiful looking map.

There are quite a few features I really enjoy when staring at your map though. Like the "BR Building," quite an original idea, something I loooove to see when I look at maps. The "crate warehouse" and the "wire spool warehouse" are quite interesting, they make me think you should have set this up for infection, as there appear to be quite a few good hiding spots.

Of course the bases are beautiful aswell, I really like the look of the peep holes, they remind me of bunkers in actual wars. The ramps/fence walls look quite nice aswell. The sniper section, also quite epic indeed. The use of fusion coils quite necessary. Glad to see you thought that through.

Do I see a single box in the crane? rofloflofl...Was that really necessary? =P

The one thing that stood out to me the most though, is how well-interlocked your wall is. The way it is set up = beautiful. It also made it rather obvious as to why you have looooads of bases made almost entirely of walls. Which, isn't bad, it helps give that "urban warfare" feel I was talking about.

Well done, it really doesn't look like just another foundry map. It looks like it will flow well and play will be fast and action packed, with a good mix of people covering each over with BR's and close range firefights inside. Brilliant map, Dl'd 5/5.

The reason for the single box in the crane was because when i first started making the map i was just messing around with geo-merging for the first time and i managed to pull off a pretty much perfect geo-merge with the crane. I decided to build the base off of that and use the boxed crane as my starting point. Also i did at one point load up the map and delete the box but it just looks silly to have the crane there. Plus where would my lovely teleporter base go if the box was not there!!!

Thanks to everyone for all the comments!

This map is just awesome. the movable item warehouses are genius and they add variety to the map. The weapons are put in perfect spots and both bases have equal advantages and disadvantages. The interlocking looks very good but the roof on your sniper tower looks a bit crooked but I can't be sure. The aesthetics are also very nice with teleporter nodes, traffic cones, the truck, and lots of movable objects. I really love this map. Welcome to Forgehub!

Current maps: Kill Bowl V2
Combat Hall

This, This I Like....

I can see your inspiration from Turf, even though this looks nothing like it. It could be considered as a "spirtual successor" to Turf, and it looks like something Bungie wouldve made, with all the attention to Detail and Aesthetics. I love maps like these, and you, my friend, have DL from me.

P.S.: Me and my friends have a pool on whos gonna win the 2v2 tourney. I put my bet on you and Pegasi to win it all! Good Luck!

Cheers!

Truely kind words there, thank you. Would be a dream come true if Bungie ever did make something like this! As for the 2v2 tournament me and Pegasi will do our best to help you win your bet. Enjoy playing the map and leave any comments about how it plays. Especially if you find any issues with weapons or spawning. Always looking to improve the map in any way possible.
