Absolute: Free from Restriction.
Description:
Absolute is a symmetrical map built on Foundry. I made this map to see if it was possible to make a good map without interlocking and using all of Foundry. There are many structures in this map. There is a Sniper Level, a Shotgun Thruway, a Sword Hall, and many more, less intriguing but important places. Players spawn in the back rooms on Foundry and presented with a very tasty treat, a Warthog. But no need to worry, a Spartan Laser is located just outside the bases in a center structure. You just have to reach it first. This map is a very fun and unique map. Again, this map has absolutely zero interlocking or geo-merging.

Player spawns - 9.5/10 - Not much to say, they are good solid spawns. Works well with team. Team spawning works very well.
Weapons - 8.5/10 - Logical weapon layout and placement. No problem with weapon layout and placement but the variety of weapons and equip was a little too big for a competitive map.
Layout - 9.5/10 - Very nice layout. Good use of objects. Cover is decent. Overall design plays well. Slightly too open in some parts.
Forging - 8/10 - It is fairly neat even though i saw a few discrepencies. I like the idea of no-interlocking, the map turned out to be fine w/o interlocking. For the most part, smooth.
Competitve Playability - 7.5/10 - Slightly too many power weapons, equipment, and vehicles for a competitive map. Good use of objects.
Replay value - 8.5/10 - Good replay, doesn't get boring fast. Good for 4v3 or maybe even 5v5.
Idea - 9/10 - Great idea. Creative.
Balance - 9/10 - Well balanced between teams. Equal sides and great symmetry. Weapons, equip, and powerups kind of "cancel" each other out.
Enjoyment - 9/10 - Very fun, especially with larger teams.
Overall: 9/10 - Good map that works great with team play. Shows that interlocking isn't what makes a map. Overall design and layout plays well. This map is exceptional for what it is but seems to fall slightly below competitve standards and gameplay.
