Map Description

We have been going for 4v4 for too long, so we decided let's try a 2v2 for once, and this is what we came up with....

We generally do symmetrical, what can I say, we love symmetry...This map has two bases as well. This time, we went for a more aerial based war, something with tunnels, as they have been implemented on many occasion, and we wanted to do something similiar, and hope we could improve it maybe...

Some Highlights? Well, I guess I could point out a few things that were exceptionally difficult, for instance, The bridge columns were no cake-walk, they were probably the most difficult part of this build...The secondary bases were not easy to work out either, though, they play out pretty amazing. Another thing I would like to highlight is the tunnel system, coordinating that with the rest of the map was almost as difficult as working out the bridge columns. Also, the dome-curve was pretty difficult...

Lastly, the bases, the bases went through SEVERAL, and i mean several re-designs, they were intended to be much larger then they are, but with the limits bestowed upon us all in forge, we could not go farther.

  • 1 Mauler at 0 spare clips, 120 second respawn
  • 4 Battle Rifles at 2 spare clips, 30 second respawn
  • 2 SMGs at 2 spare clips, 30 second respawn
  • 2 Spikers at 2 spare clips, 30 second respawn
  • 4 plasma grenades at 10 second respawn
  • 2 frag grenades at 10 second respawn

This is amazing, really. I love how you described how this map came about. You describe your map how I like to describe mine, and I absolutely love it =]

The structure itself looks brilliant. Lots of interlocking beauty, and I cannot wait to get home tomorrow and test this thing out. Doubles maps are my absolute favorite, so I'll come back with as much criticism as I can conjure up. Great job, bro!

OMFG, Project S is out.
Looks stunning, the bridge collumns are definately the highlight for me, the weapon list seems a little small but it seems like it'll suit it. I'll dl now and report back later.

All you had to say is Tex and Project S in the shoutbox and all you would get as a responce was, "when is that map coming out" and "I can't wait to try it out". Why did this happen? Why was Project S so anticipated? Because of the quality we have already seen come out of Tex and everyone who helps him make his maps.
Not only that but the amount of time he puts into testing his maps before release. The amount of effort he puts into the post to make it look aesthetically pleasing and the screen shots with excellent angles to promote the map and show it's full potential.

The post itself is laid out excellently and would be a great post to show to a new user as an example of how to post your maps. The pictures are great and not fed through filters, they show the map and not your photoshoping and you've quite clearly shown us download links instead of hidden away hard to find links like some posts.

On to the map itself. As I've previously stated I can't play test the map but I have seen a very early stage of the map and I had a quick look at the layout, while abusing you (Tex) about stupid stuff I noticed in the map =P
But I liked the idea at the time and love how it finally turned out! The grav lift in the wall is excellently constructed and looks absolutely amazing (Not that you can see it in any of these pictures). And overall the map looks well made.

The use of interlocking in this map is a great example of what can be done with the tools given to us and is a fine example to new guys on what a great map is.

I love the little chute thing you made in the upper floor to quickly jump down for a surprise attack or throw a grenade up to an opponent. Every little thing like the fence wall used as guard near the lift to the aesthetics. Everything seems well planned out and there for a reason.

One thing I especially love is the tower with the bridges merged into the ground. That thing just looks brilliant!

I really really want to say something bad about this map but I can't see anything at all...

I can't wait to play this map with you Tex and I can't wait to see more maps from you.

I absolutely love small maps, so you've touched my heart with this map. There really isn't anything else that needs to be said. If you're reading this, DOWNLOAD THIS MAP. Feature!

Tex is my ass fiend (Re; my sig) and he lives up to it with amazing maps like this =]

yay a 2v2. nice job tex. the highlight for me is the room with all of the B signs, the roof looks like its inside a house or something along those lines. great time for some downloadin!

Gratz jobsssadasd21. You did a amazing job i love the layout and the whole Termenal feel to it. The rafter type thing uptop was genuis and the pilliars in the middle were flawless. ill do a detailed reveiw after i look at it more and doo a few games on it, il also get you a video!! feafhak be with you and jingobakunon aswell my dear cheilds of then its1~?EEDad???? ?DASXD XD XD
