Jedwali
As the war against the Covenant perpetuated, the factories and shipping routes became primary targets. 4-10 players
Authors: Co-made by Brute Captain and De5troy999
Well, I hadn't had any ideas for me next project, but I did want to make a map. Then one day, my fellow forgehub friend, De5troy999 came to me and asked me if I wanted to assist him with his map. I joined his party, looked at the map that had just become a basic layout. I liked it, and then.... we decided to co-make it. My first and his first ever co map. He came up with the first two main structures and I did the rest. We each deserve equal credit because although I built the vast majority of the map, it never would have existed without De5troy's idea. So, without further adeu, ladies and small teenage boys.... Jedwali.
Map Geometry: Jedwali is an Asymetric map. It sports two main structures and two secondary structures or "side bases". The first main structure is similar to a semi cirlcle, but a little square on the edges. It has a lower step used to jump up on the inside area, and two sets of stairs on each opposing side for access. A bridge runs between the back half of each end, connecting them. Collumns provide support for the roof as well as cover. The other main structure, just opposite the other one, is more asymetrical. It has several landings with fence rails around it and a few other nooks. It also contains what is an "airlift" or a series of mancannons made to look nice that shoot you up into the teleporters. The side bases are both different, the A base having several levels and a staircase, as well as a slightly extruding area on the top. The B base has similar characteristics as A base, but is part of a tall hexagonal (Six Sided) sniper tower. The middle of the level also has two geometry merged boxes to provide cover and restrict the control the Ghost can exercise over the map.
Compatibility: Jedwali works with all gametypes and has been properly formatted for them. Slayer and CTF as well as Oddball are top reccomendations, but you may well have fun with the other variants. One note is that the teleporters take you to different destinations depending on if the gametype is Asymetric or Symetric.
