Harvest Town is my first real venture at forging an Infection map. This map is for the Hub of the Dead contest. Save One Bullet is the default gametype to be used (a required aspect for the contest) but contains some weapons if you don't want to play Save One Bullet. I will hopefully create a custom gametype later on and add a link in the future, but for now I just have the map.
Harvest Town
Recommended number of players: 8 - 16
Recommended gametype: Save One Bullet
Pictures: Some of the pictures have had the FX removed so you could see more clearly.
Human spawn
Zombie spawn: May seem open but the zombie/zombies have a couple buildings they can head for and set up an ambush. Or they could just run straight for the Humans.
Broken hut: First place the humans may want to investigate. Remember, use caution while handling heavy equipment!!!
"Radio shack": Silly name but... A radio antenna spawns 60 sec into the game to allow humans onto the roof. Zombies can get up there any time by jumping high enough (in Save One Bullet).
Inside the "Radio shack": What looks like a secure building with one entrance actually could be a death house. Holes in the roof can lead to your demise as a human.
Wood shack: 20 seconds into the game a fire is lit in the fire place, usually this signals that humans have taken refuge inside. Note: zombies will spawn on top of the roof occasionally.
A wooden plank spawns 60 sec into the game allowing zombies another way up to any humans taking refuge on this roof.
Convenience store: The interior contains a handful of weapons when playing a gametype that allows other weapons on the map.
This is the main room of the second floor of the Hotel. The stair case would be in the left corner. That opening on the right of the shot leads to the back alleyway.
The back Alleyway: The main entrance leads into and out of the convenience store. There are two entrances into the Hotel from this alley.
Along with being my first Infection map, this is my first official map post here, so I hope everything turned out proper. Hope you enjoy the map!
