Termites V2.2

Termites V2.2

"There are termites in the walls! Termites with swords..."

A fun, fast paced, creative infection map and gametype for 2-16 players. No, really. This is okay with 16 players.

Screenshots:

The House

The weapons rooms, Floor 1

The flamethrower table, floor 2

The overshield, floor 3.

The first half of the wall

The fence tunnel, great for epic last stands!

The Zombie spawn box

The Outside of it all! (except for the zombie spawn box)

The Description!

An average game on this map would be a little bit like this...
Spawn
People run for weapons
People go to thier favorite spots
30 seconds in, the zombie escapes
Someone gets sworded by this invisible zombie
Someone screams "AAAAH! THE ZOMBIE IS HERE!"
45 seconds in the fence tunnel is completed
60 seconds in a crate spawns, allowing you to get on top of another fence wall (nicknamed the fungus) with a bonus shotgun and sniper atop it
Everyone gets sworded
A new round begins.

I can't think of anything to explain that the screenshots didn't. This is a play-tested, home-grown, horomone-free low fat game and map. Enjoy! Please leave comments. (The reason the map doesn't have any downloads is because I recently edited it to make the play area inescapable, hence the V2.2)

It's not that special, but it's good for a first.

looks nice, great concept. Interlocking.. eh, from what i can see, interlocking doesnt look like a concern here. But idk, ill have to try it to find out lol!

Hey guys, thanks for the downloads. The special 'touch' that I was attemtpting to add was the fact that Zombies spawn in the wall, and run out. It adds a lot of suspense I think. Also, almost none of the action takes place in the house. Most of it is outside. I Think I should have added one or two more screenies of the wall itself. Oh, yeah, I forgot. The gametype is called bug spray because of the flamethrower inside the house's ability to be awesome inside the fence tunnel.

I don't believe in the death of maps, so I am going to comment on how you should familiarize yourself with advanced forge techniques. It makes your maps a bit more impressive.

On the other hand, this looks like a really good map. Nice work

Ok, thanks. The thing is, I don't feel this map needs many advanced forging techniques. Interlocking and other things wouldn't be a huge help with this map. Thanks for the comment!

It's a good original idea but i don't think the map is that good, could do with more interlocking. also the pics don't seems to show everything.
