9Mins till Evac

Hello and welcome to my map 9Mins till Evac. This is a map i decided to make after realizing that not many people have made infection on The Pit. This map is made for a large group of infeciton and is fun for everyone, infected or not infected. The map takes place in the upper and bottom sword room as i will explain by this storyline i have made up.

Story:

It was a dark day when scientist Brody Jones decided to make an experiment that will change the world. His plans were to make a super human being that would do whatever her said, but that all turned wrong the night of the experiment. As him and his partners were ready to bring the creature to life, lightning struck, the power went off, and the creature came to life. As the power went on again scientist Brody Jones found his partners dead on the floor. As her looked to see where the creature was, he found that it was gone... Suddenly he saw that it had ran away threw a window... He warned the city as the creature went free. The city decided to make a bunker to protect themselves from the zombie, but as the zombie went free, more people died and became a zombie. Pelicans are said to come for survivors in 9 minutes!

Well yea... Thats the story, though not completely detailed... Anyways i will now explain the map further... Like a said, the survivors (humans) Start in the sword room, and i highly recommend staying there for the entire game... The job for the humans is to work as a team to stop the zombies from breaking in. The zombies spawn in one of the second levels of a base, mainly to prevent spawn killing. The job for the zombies is to break inn and kill. As more people get infected the game will get more intense, but as long as humans have teamwork they will be able to survive for 9 minutes. Also in this game, to make it more fun for the zombies, i made it so that the 2 (yes 2) alpha zombies can pick up weapons. Throughout the game items, weapons and power-ups will spawn, helping the zombies to reach the goal of killing the humans. Zombies are powerful and will kill you in one shot, and like a said before alpha zombies can pick up your weapons so be careful and be aware. I`ll now explain further in the screenshots.

The starting points for the humans, here you will find most of your weapons along with a teleporter leading you to the bottom floor. This is the place to decide where to go and where to stick together.

The zombie spawn, pretty empty but thoughout the game things will spawn that will help.

A view of the outside. As you can see it is all locked up by items, and there are only very little places in which zombies can get in, they mainly get in by braking the pallets.

Getting weapons is the most important thing in the game. There wont be enough weapons for everyone, but everyone still has an important role in this game, so make sure you dont kill eachother for weapons...

A view of a hallway along with a barricade which you can open and close. Its bit like a close the door one... Although these dont completely stop the zombies from
getting in...

Near the front there are deployable covers, there will really help from keeping the zombies out.

The basement, a great spot to camp, yet a great stop to die at... There is shotgun ammo along with a flamethrower, but i suggest saving that for later.

Like I said, zombies can pick up weapons, so be carefull and stick with your team!

Custom power up to help the zombies. It makes you invisible and quicker.

Like i said, items and a hammer will spawn which only the alpha zombie can take, there hlpe destroy every defence the humans have.

Well thats the map, and yes i suppose you COULD leave the map and camp outside of the map, although what fun is that? And i tested that theory... And you die very qucikly...

This map looks really crazy. as if it could get real hectic real fast without teamwork. Overall it's a great idea and map. I'll download and comment later.

YAY you posted it i loved every second on trying this map out. It was really exciting and i loved it :) too bad i had to leave in the middle of it.

hey, I'm unable to dload maps :( because my sis is the one with xbox live and she won't let me use her account to dload maps onto. I can use the account otherwise though. Can somebody add Curvedslayer210 because this looks really cool and i'd love to try it out.

sweet, this is one of the better non-dlc infection maps i've seen good job. BTW your tower jumping map is ridiculous lol

I admit that I have never really made an infection map on the pit but for the obvious reason that there has always been superior maps to build on (Dlc) A very brave effort at making one on this. I assume that the 9 minutes is just the length of the game, not timer mechnisms?

Yes, 9 minutes is the actual length of the game. I dont think i have ever made it to the end though. While in testing with 16 people i was the last one with like 1 min left in the game, i was in basement and then alpha with gravity hammer came from behind :l. Either way the map takes lots of teamwork to survive until the end... Making a non-DLC map was quite the challenge, but in the end was worth it.
