In case you couldn't tell I am back. Who is back you say? Well I see we have quite the collection of new users! I guess an introduction is in order before I kick this off.

My name is Dan Martin, but I have been going by TrueDarkFusion online now for about six years. I am an eighteen year old gamer who many may describe as a fetish for squirrels. That simply is not true It is actually an understatement. Some of you may remember the squirrel army yes? Although my friends do not often find me on Halo 3 anymore, it still has a place in my heart. Halo 3 provided a creative outlet that few games provide. I am not a one trick pony so of course I take part in various other activities besides gaming. Often I can be found at the pool life guarding, hanging out with friends, or studying to become a biochemist. Of course even through all this I still find time to game, including Halo from time to time.

Back in October of 2007 I founded Forge Hub upon the launch of Halo 3. Forge Hub started off as a small wordpress blog where I could showcase my Forge creations. Soon my small little Forging blog took off, at which point I decided to introduce the community aspect of forging to the site so I began featuring community maps in addition to mine. The site continued to snowball and grow, and since then we have gone through two upgrades. Up until the most recent upgrade I did nearly all the writing for the front page. Around March the stress of doing so much alone got to me so I took a small hiatus and left the site in control of my close friend Nitrous and the rest of the FH staff. Well after a nice vacation I started to miss all of you so now I am back and sexier than ever.

The front page really has been lacking recently and we realize how much we have been sucking so we are stepping it up. Not only will the regular articles are once again posted a new feature will be added to the mix. The new feature is an editorial that I will post on a weekly basis called Musings of the Truth. The editorial will express my thoughts and opinions on many gaming related matters ranging from Forge to the confrontational relationship between gaming and politics. The article is meant to be a nice break from Forge this, Forge that, at least most of the time that is.

Be sure to look for the first issue of Musings of Truth on the front page sometime this week. I will be covering a multiple a retrospective of Forge that will span multiple editions.
