Best Slayer Map

Slayer is one of Halo's all time classic gametypes. There are two main varieties: Team Slayer and Free For All. Both are accepted in the 'Slayer' category. This gametype is generally the most played gametype. There is no objective in slayer except to kill your opponent whilst preventing him from killing you and members of your team. Most people love this kind of mindset, and thrive in it. No MLG maps are allowed in this category. SWAT is accepted as a Slayer gametype.

The previous winner of this category was AZN FTW with his SWAT map, "Training Ground".

I can remember this was my highlight of TGIF 10, I just loved Team Slayer on it.

I nominate Gridlocked by Draw the Line. He worked hard on this by geomerging every single box into the ground. I have not seen any other map that has pillars evenly spread out in a grid-like formation on ForgeHub yet.

Definitely the best slayer map out there, no gimmicks, just pure, well thought out forging. Small enough for 1v1, big enough for 4v4, beats Sewers out of the water.
