Ever think while playing a map, "This map looks like it was planned out well before it was built"? Design is a crucial factor in a good map. That includes consideration of spots where people can control areas of the map, but can be taken down, the flow of the map using weapon placement and timers and even the aesthetic influence on the player in order to lead them through the map clearly and effectively. Planning has become even easier with the Foundry Designer by PureCallum. This is a difficult subject to vote on, so put some serious thought in.
