I would have voted for Xyience until Iv0rY put out Cenotaph. I instantly fell in love with it; Hang 'em High successor FTW. Cenotaph gets my vote.

I agree. Regicide plays like no other map, requiring strategy and all around teamwork. Lines of sight are great, and it's forged really well. Link is above.

My vote is for Cenotaph, as it's recreated the Hang 'em High feel better in Halo 3 than Tombstone did in Halo 2. Yes, I'm srs.

However, Regicide and Unleashed were close contenders for me. Regicide is a little sloppy in places Forge-wise, despite its amazing layout and great design. Unleashed is the best MLG 2-base inverse-sym I've ever seen, and it's quite an amazing map in its own regard. I wouldn't doubt seeing Unleashed in v7, but now is Cenotaph's time to shine and the beginning of the era of MLG asyms.

Regicide. Fritzster should really be credited for having the confidence to break free from the rut of unoriginality that the MLG maps had trapped themselves in. Very unique. Wonderfully enjoyable. Perfectly balanced. And Asymmetrical.

Hopefully people will realise now that MLG maps don't have to be based on Onslaught or Amplified, and I'm looking forward to seeing a little more variety in the MLG section.

I've got to go with Xyience here. It's been a tough pull between it and Regicide for me, but while Regicide is original and innovative, there's simply no map I feel is better constructed for the MLG gameplay.

Xyience. Never has a Foundry map felt so large.. and played so well. Awesome Halo CE feel. love it
