I also nominate Slate Creek.

Great design from this map.

although this is an mlg map, it still plays beautifully for just slayer brs.

and the specifically placed holes and heights of objects work ridiculously well for allowing good tactical jumps as well as bricks and blocks that slice the air in a manor allowing for long ranges of sight, and doesn't leave a person completely stranded in the open, all at the same time.

i have to say i fell in love with this map the second time i played it.
as they say, love is gradual.
Although it is MLG it has an amazing design that has revolutionized MLG maps. The combination of walkways and structures is genius.
+nomination

The best gameplay I've ever had for a map would definitely be verbatim. It definitely was designed for gameplay, which is what I think is the most important part of a map.

I believe the correct term is "pooned".

I often times speak without thinking. If you feel my post is derogatory please PM me.

This is a bit more tricky for me to pick, but, I shall vote for Verbatim. The flow of this map is very well thought out. The upper drop down from the attackers area to the defenders area is very clever. The break up of lines of sight and general layout is awesome.

I struggled to think of one for this, so many great maps come to mind. So many ingenius, innovative design. Until it hit me, I settled on a map.

I nominate Radius. Complexity within simplicity. The layout is so basic yet it works ever so well. The intriquit, tedious, difficult build just to satisfy the simple design. Squidhands did a magnificent job on this one.

I also vote for Vertebraile, it's great use of a death pit and newly developed aesthetic touches are amazing.

I cast for Verbatim. Near perfect design to go with a Non-Budgeted Canvas.

I nominate Point Blank by CC Pybus for best design. This map is undeniably the best designed map on foundry I've seen. This map promotes what is lacking in almost all foundry maps today, RAMPS. You've seen it happen before, and you probably have had it happen to you also. Being killed while jumping to gain ground or a weapon is one of the more common deaths in Halo 3. ( It's a very irritating one too. )

This design drives the game play, it doesn't stop it with the use of stairs, angled bridges, and fence walls. The basement portion is absolutely amazing, definitely by far the best design I've seen yet on foundry. He uses the bridges as a form of ramp while also making it seem like a simplistic bunker, where teammates can spawn. As for the forging in general, one word: PERFECT. Link: Point Blank

I SIXTH Verbatim. It's exceptionally laid out and my all time favorite for 2v2 for any gametype. I think the link's been already provided in this thread.
