There was actually over 40. Besides, in the terms of the contest, judges looked at maps for how good they were, not how they could have been improved. It wasn't the job of those who took part in judging this contest to review maps beyond what is required for determining winners. That is why you can post your map here on Forge Hub, and allow the community to comment your map and offer suggestions.

These were the 3 I had expected to win. Got a game on Schism of Light last night, so much fun. I was honestly constantly moving, as I was always worried a zombie would get me from above. The layout seemed a bit confusing, but easy to memorize after a round. Great job, Given.

Sometimes it's not a single issue or anything that can be easily identified and improved upon, sometimes maps just don't work.

A criticism for the three winners would be:

Friedhof: Having some zombie spawns up higher, and allowing them to drop down would have been nice.

Creek: The zombie spawnhive upper exits shouldn't have had the wall that limited the zombies jump distance out of them, as bumping into that wall landed you in the same place practically as having gone out the bottom door, at least for the long side.

SoL: There is that single area with only one entrance that humans often moved towards. Other than this area, there wouldn't have been any major camp spots, which would have been a new challenge for infection.

woot woot RC i knew that map would go far, and im must say i thoroughly enjoyed testing it with you. And congrats Given i knew that map would win as soon as i laid my eyes on it.

I must say Dark Creek was fun to play but i do agree with RC that turret was kinda over powering, but i learned zombies creep around that very easily when there is only 2 humans left.

Anyway congrats too all, too bad my infection was budget glitched and i read the rules like a day before it was due.

What could you do for christmas? I mean zombies go with halloween, but what would go with Christmas?

Anyways, congratulations to all of the winners. You all definately deserved it. I'm sure it was hard for the judges to make a decision.

There are varying degrees of evil, we urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over into true corruption, into our domain.
But if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three and on that day you will reap it. And we will send you to which ever god you wish.
