Site Update - 11th October

Another week in, another week out

Another eventful two weeks have come and gone, and Forge Hub continues on its road of glory every minute of the week. Couldn't be done without you guys, of course. Anyways, Creeping Death is out this week, so I'll be here raynning havoc on his property. Sorry guy, its mandatory. As for Sarge doing the updates, well, lets not get into that.

Caption Contest Winner

We know it's been a while since the contest, but the unanimous vote landed right at BuddhaCrane's doorstep, who supplies us with a humbling and right-out-funny caption. Although he already has one, he'll be supplied with the revered "The Joker" custom title for his courageous deed of making us all giggle inside. T'was a good one. Promotions
We're sad to see some fine friends go this week. Jean-Luc Picard (previously known as TexturedSun) has put down the reigns of the mighty banhammer to join the humble Loyal squad. With Fall just coming in, work tends to get rather busy; it's something we can all relate to. Speaking of Loyals, DrawingMan and J A Y have also gone back to their previous rank after an effortful career as Guardians. Thanks for the help, guys.

Oh and X5 was promoted to Journalist. We forgot to add him in for a reason, but he complained and thus I am here editing this in. "Congratulations are in order" or something to that effect.

1v1 Conflict Coming to a Close

With the semifinals being completed tonight, the looming shadow of the finals are givin' goosebumps. It's gonna be awesome. Thanks to all contestants in the tournament; it wouldn't be a success without you. As for the final four, congratulations men. You've earned it. Enjoy the prizes from our grateful sponsors. Fans, make sure you route for your favorite player in the finals! It's gonna be survival of the fittest between Forge Hub's 'Defender of the Hub' Shanon and the no-pain, no-gain Dewski. I'ts gonna get rough in this house.

Note to all finalists: The week of Monday the 12th will be a hiatus for you to practice and get comfortable with the map. Remember, we're talking 'bout practice.

Hub of the Dead

Forge Hub is proud to (re)announce our Halloween-themed forging contest, "Hub of the Dead." Infection making greats will triumph, and the weak will be consumed by the local Fat Kid. If you don't enter, you're weak. The Fat Kid hasn't eaten in a while, either. Inappropriate threats aside, if you want a good reason to bust my chops, enter the contest. You don't only get a custom title, feature, and community spotlight if you win; you'll be able to laugh at me crying on the sidelines. Oh now you want to enter, don't you? Among the various informative entries, you can expect two new articles coming within the week, one being the long awaited Ghost Merging guide. It's an awesome discovery, and you'll be able to access a clean "how-to" any day of the week when it gets posted. Profit, eh?

Two Weeks to Come

Nice update Raynne. I'm looking forward to both infection contests (here and on GoO)! I'll probably be lazy and just submit the same map for both contests and hope for the best. :D

I think it's funny how paradise plaza received a warning because it was a double post yet still gets mentioned on the front page.

Just because we moderate through the rules doesn't mean we can't like a map.
