News Site Update - August 2nd - Page 3

The new skin isn't a user-created skin, but I'll be giving some feedback on the best submissions to try and tweak them so that they'll work for implementation in the future. I'd love to see some community skins added to the site, but they weren't ready yet and I wanted to give you guys something nice to add to all the other cool updates.

Also, I'm glad to see the new addition of the Halo 3: ODST forum, along with Forging 201.

the new theme isn't fh light is it? When are some of the entries to the FH Next Top Theme contest going to be implemented?

Yeah, FH Light is the new theme even though the images for it were done several months ago. I'm satisfied with it though, even though I'd like to see some of the entries be used as skins for the site.

The new theme seems to meh, its all, shiny and stuff. Stickin to OS still.

I have sensitive eyes and white makes me get a headache faster, therefore I would have to wear my glasses more if I use that theme...Which is why I'm sticking with dark.

Yeah, I wish they wouldn't leave it open forever like they did the 404 error contest.

They didn't leave that contest open, they actually just all the submitted 404 error images in a rotation.

Anywho, shock said he would love to see user-created skins to be implemented in the future.

No, I meant that the thread itself that was there and stayed open forever, and if they had updated it they hadn't announce and closed the thread...the 404 contest opened 09-08-2008 and closed 03-07-2009 you see what I mean.

Eww, that banner needs to change. First thing my digital art teacher taught me two years ago, was that images that make your eyes bleed should not be used. And boy, are my eyes hemorrhagin'.
