OK ladies and gentlemen, the countdown has ended and that means the time has finally come to lay speculation to rest. Forge Hub is proud to present our new tournament, the 1v1 Conflict. Similar to the 1v1 Showdown of yore, you the community will face off against each other on some extraordinary maps created by your very own Staff and Premium members. 15 maps, to be exact. 15 maps crafted intricately and tested thoroughly to host your veracious battles. We've upped our standards from the previous iteration of this tournament, and we think you'll enjoy the maps we have to offer whether or not you choose to enter the tournament. But who are we kidding, you're entering, right? What's that? Need some motivation? We're prepared to deliver.

If thats not enough to jumpstart your competitive juices, then how about the bragging rights of besting hundreds of your peers and being crowned King of the Conflict? Hopefully we've enticed you enough to join us in this battle of epic proportions.
By now you're probably itching to see just what environments you'll be dueling on. And rightfully so, we can only tease you guys so much via banners and sneak peak videos. Below is a list containing most of the maps you'll have the pleasure of getting down and dirty on, as well as a picture of each to hold you over until their respective rounds arrive.
Like what you see? Good. They've each been through some of the most rigorous testing possible and we think you'll enjoy them thoroughly.
As for the gametype, we're switching up our style this time around. Unlike our previous tournaments, we're aiming to successfully mesh the common matchmaking atmosphere with some more traditional MLG aspects, in an attempt to highlight both competitiveness and diversity. Your first and foremost task is to dust off your BR and work on your precision, as it will be your primary tool of destruction. Once your precision is up to par, you may want to do a bit of research on some of the non-MLG weapons and see just how they fare within a 110% damage scenario. Once you've done your homework, its time to strategize, as there will be nowhere to hide. We've opted, and are very pleased with, a 25m Enhanced radar. This means that if your opponent is within the 25m radius, you will know their relative location no matter if they are crouching or not. This not only eliminates camping (a frequent issue in 1v1 bouts), but also adds another layer to competitive strategy and tactics.
