Template Contest Round Up




The Template Contest is a unique challenge for both veteran and newbie forgers alike. The goal was to build a Big team battle map around a centralized structure that contains and houses the powerful shotgun. Many creations rose to meet the challenge of the Template Contest. However, one map was a cut above the rest - Collision.

Collision was forged by Adelyss and Preakie. Collision is a prime example of fluid gameplay and good game mechanics. The geometry looks beautiful while also having a purpose. An example of this geometry is the huge arches. Collision successfully uses the predetermined geometry to create a big team battle map worthy of a download. Just don’t crash the hogs, they're rentals.

Yes we do, along with another great map to add to my foundry collection. I played it once before I got E-74 (I was downloading maps from the submission thread) and this one was by far the best. It's just... really amazing for warthog splatters on Foundry (lol).

Congrats to phreakie and Adyless, the map is excellent and really deserved to win. The map has some really great aesthetic parts as well as great gameplay.
