I want to know because I have a feeling that the map that will win will not necissarily have the best gameply but instead will look cool and have some kind of gimmickey switch. While the map that I made in no way looks bad, it doesnt have any crazy switches or geos, but I would imagine it will have good gameplay.

It is noted that aesthetics are being one of the main parts of judgement. But I'm assuming gameplay will ALWAYS come first. They wouldn't feature a map that
looked very good, when there was plenty other of maps out there that play a lot better than that map (aesthetic maps are an exception).
The point of this contest is for forgers to use their skills to build a breed of maps that is slowly growing and needs more maps, which is conquest. They want the very best conquest map that will leave an impression on EVERYBODY. Even though looks impress people a lot, the people want a map they can enjoy conquest on and replay many, many times.
My point: the winner won't be the map that looks the best, but it will be the map that is creative, neat, and plays better than the rest of the maps.
