Very nice. I didn't know some of this stuff, it's a great history of Forge. The pics that go along with it amused me. :D Good job

this post is pretty cool it is like watching the history channel but with Halo 3 forge as the topic. I also love how forge has become a map modifier to a map creator. What would love to see is bungie's reactions to this "change". It is just so cool how forge changed into a Gary's mod of Halo 3. I also think it is very comedic that we say a map is "old" if it was made before Forgeing 101 or interlocking. I think that bungie should make more maps like foundry were every thing is deletable and create able.

I am also a strong believer in giving more power into the gamers hands by making it more "open source" in creating content because sure bungie's staff can spend 4 years on a game but that cannot match the man hours put in by the gamers like you and me. Right?

^Right.I remember watching that VIDOC on forge showing the forger using items as protection for the player. Now its totally the opposite ,we use forge to create our won maps and feel like bungie ourselves.Bungie made one of the greatest things in halo ever without even meaning to.Hopefully it will keep getting better and better.

I actually wasn't aware that forge was just meant to change items, in fact, I seriously didn't even know about it until a few days after I got the game. That was just "the other option" for awhile.

old project scrapped.
Current Project:
haha yeah no.
Current Completion Percentage:
10%

This is a very good timeline. :) Oh how forge has grown into the beast that it is now.
