Zipline

The Zipline

I was reading a thread the other day where people were giving ideas of switches that they thought would be cool but didn't know how they'd work. When I saw the zipline idea i thought I'd give it a try. Here is the result. Grav lifts inside the zipline hold you against it while the man cannon and gravity pull you down the zipline towards the landing box.

Well done, i have no idea if someone has done this before, but i see its the same basic idea as the hold up vehicles via gravlift above because the bottom of it kinda pulls, most switches i see dont seem like they would actually be incorporated into a map becuase they take up too much space, money, objects etc, but this on the other hand i can actually see being used, so great job, 5/5.

my question, is, does it go the other way? it is very nice and I do like it and may use the idea, but I was wondering if you would be able to make it go the other way? I'll try it out and see if I can get it going the other way.

Holy shit I'm gonna try and use this on a map you think it would work on sandbox. I'm gonna make some room dl then study this a one a bit and see if i can recreate it on sandbox. If i ever release a map using this i'll credit you alright.

Interesting Idea. It would be kinda cool if this idea was used on Sandbox, and a Shi No Numa remake was mould with it.

Nice Idea.

The idea is genius. Too bad it takes up [pretty much] all the grav lifts, still, this one's totally doable on a real map. It would make for a great one-way transport, you could even mimic its epicness into a machinima!

i was thinking the samr thing about using this in a map but then i realized u could probley just jump as far as that thing takes u... something like this in the cript of sandbox would probley work very well in a map... i also like how anything can go down it and how u can still aim to shoot while going down!
