UNSC Stone Fury

UNSC Stone Fury
Created by Weeden Project

Supported Gametypes:
Mainly a visual map, can support One Bomb to a limited extent.

Map Description
Well, this is simply an aesthetic ship map made using Sandbox’s sky bubble. The ship consists of three main internal spaces, the bomb bay, hangar, and control room. The bomb bay is just that, a room containing four grav lifts that, when destroyed, drop fusion coils to the ground below. The hangar is simply a room with several wide entrances, as well as a pair of hornets. The control room is just a small room at the top of the ship. Unlike my previous ship map, this ship does not contain a hideously complicated network of teleporters, making the interior much easier to navigate.
In an effort to make this map playable, I added a small base on the ground (Which by pure coincidence is right below the bomb bay) which includes a teleporter to a small platform in the sky bubble, that is host to a pair of banshees. However, weapons on the map are extremely limited, for the simple reason that I reached the object limit, so anyone wanting to play on this map may well wish to make some changes to it to improve playability.

Side view of the ship.

And the other side.

Front view.

Flying into engines is not recommended.

Bomb bay from below (Though somewhat lacking in bombs at the time).

Bomb bay interior.

Control room.

Hangar interior.

Small sky platform.

Ground base (Beware of falling fusion coils).

Well, thats it from me, i hope you like the map and i would much appreciate any constructive criticism and/or compliments. Oh, and please rate the map.

Wow this is amazing, I think this is the first aesthetic map i have seen on sandbox. Youve set high standards and I love how you have not just built a ship but have build small bases and banshee landing pad. Can I ask if the slanted wall glitch has effected this map, it doesn't look like it has from the pics. 5/5 on aesthetics.

EDIT: You say you hit the object limit, did you delete all the original items may I ask?

My Maps

Point Blank - My new arena style competitive map
Distraction v2 - The newest version of my minigame map (essential if you have the first)

I know I haven't played it yet (although I do have Mythic), I would delete all of the towers on top of all the structures to free up some of the object limit.

Then you could add more weapons!

And I'm sure FH will find a way to bypass the OLN soon anyway.

I don't have any finished maps. Yet.

Firstly, to be honest i don't actually know what the slanted wall glitch is, and yes i did delete the original objects, which was probably a mistake in hindsight. And thanks for the feedback

Well the wall glitch is: If you place a wall as a floor (flat) when you save and quick and come back the walls will be on a slight slant by about 2 degrees if you have a floor made from walls this can cause lots of annoying little bumps and effect gameplay.

This is another great Sandbox map made. i like the kilball @ the back you should have something near ther so ppl. go near it:/ maybe thats not a good idea

EDIT: You say you hit the object limit, did you delete all the original items may I ask?

if you did delete all the objects that where there on the map before, you shouldnt have. just move them aside some where else cuz its extra stuff so if you delete them ull never get to use them again, ther're not on the budget so they're free-beez you get it?
but still this map is a deff. DL awesome map man lml_

That was definitely a mistake on your part, although it's acceptable, you might not have known.

Deleting the default objects pretty much removes a good 50+ objects from the OLN, which definitely affected the map when it comes to those weapons.

From the looks of things, you've done an excellent job with the Aesthetics of the map, and definitely set bar as someone mentioned earlier. Not only that, but you've made the map playable, which is a feat most Aesthetic Forgers cannot accomplish.

Ah thats what you meant. That caused me some problems, but i tried to solve it by interlocking the floors, which seems to have worked fairly well.

Looks pretty cool, but it could use a little smoothing over. However, it still pretty nice, so 4/5.

Output v2 - Courtyard - Found-ry Final - Porq v2
