I haven't read the entire thread....but I just downloaded sketchup a few weeks ago and have been playing around with it. creating speaker boxes, a model of my apartment building, just random things. I find 3D modeling very interesting and fun.
this is awesome, as I just bought the mythic map pack and am always thinking of maps and design when I can't use the Xbox (fiancé watching bachelorette, or something like that) so now I can plan effectively with this tool.

I just remaid a map in foundry that took hours on the xbox and did it in 20 minutes.
This is a great way to test concepts and placement......every person who enjoys forgeing their own maps should be using this tool for idea creations, design testing, and anything else. I can't thank the contributors enough!
