Aberrant, as the name suggests, is very unique. Now at a glance, it may not seem like it, but the frantic and unmatched mix of gameplay is something special (not bragging). Aberrant is a symmetric/asymmetric (fully symmetric, but not mirror image) map. AND UNDER BUDGET!! Essentially, every object touching the floor or wall is merged, and every object touching another is interlocked. The gameplay is extremely fast-paced and very unique. The various routes to each destination seem to create a new experience each time you spawn. OK I will try to keep everyone's attention by attempting to explain the rest through pictures.

The Bases:
^A Base^

*B Base is the same.*

Man Cannon:
^On each side, there is a man cannon that takes you right to the middle (rocket bridge). This adds some elements of aerial combat, which is part of the different type of gameplay that Aberrant has to offer.

Bunkers:
^This is one of the bunkers where snipers spawn (2minutes)

Under the bridge:


KEY FEATURES:

*The mancannons which take players to rockets help for quick movement from one side to the middle.

*The timer I have made (there will be a section lower down explaining this.)

*Power weapons (Rockets, and 2 Snipers) are on drop spawns for accurate timing, and hooked to my original timer.

*All objective markers have been interlocked/ merged/ or out of the way eliminate bumps.

THE TIMER:

Above rockets in the middle, there is a single box in the air. On the bottom side, there is a powerup. At the start, it is yellow, and after 2 minutes it turns to orange. This lets you know that the 2 snipers have spawned. 1 minute later (3 minutes total) it turns white, to let you know rockets have spawned.



Now youre thinking, "hmm well that will only help for the first set of spawns, and besides who wants to look at the ceiling anyways." And I thought of that too. Outside of the map (back in the bases of default foundry) i have fusion coils that are set to drop. One every 2 minutes (snipers spawn) and one every 3 minutes (rockets spawn). So when you hear an explosion, you know that a power weapon has respawned. the fusion coils are on opposite sides, so if you become familiar enough with Aberrant, you should know what weapon has spawned from where the explosion takes place.

Carbine x 2 (1 min?)
P Pistol x 2 (1 min?)
Rockets x 1 (3 mins)
Snipers x 2 (2 mins)
SMG x 4
Frag x 4
Plamsa Nade x 4 (20 sec)

Other Notes:

-The on-and-off forging of Aberrant started before the New Year.
-Although Aberrant is fully symmetric, 1 Flag CTF strangely emerges as the most intense and fun gametype.
+Other stuff i wanted to say, but have forgotten now.
