And if that's not acceptable, can the path branch off and reconnect around the territories that don't branch off from the main path? The branches are purely to hold weapons and set ambushes?
I'm looking to add some strategy to Conquest.

The path
should not be straight, but all turns should be symmetrical. The path should not branch at all. Think W, U, N, C, Z, but not Y or E or K or B or O. C is fine, but not D. G is not symmetric and X is right-out.
