Interrobang

Interrobang is an asymmetric map that was built far up into the sky, completely outside of Blackout's invisible barrier. The map's floors are all neatly interlocked, and the majority of the map was built by save-quit object floating. Interrobang is built in a linear fashion, and as such functions best for asymmetric gametypes like One Flag, One Bomb, and Territories. Interrobang supports all gametypes, and even has a custom hide-and-seek style Infection gametype, Green Fiends, designed for it. In addition Slayer is a primary mode for Interrobang.

Interrobang has many cool features that make it stand out from the rest. On the "attack side," there is a "Shield Door Transport," which instantly warps those who enter it straight to the top of the Sniper Tower. In the bottom-center of the map, there are a series of interlocked bridges forming an area known as the "catwalks," which is an essential position to control, especially in team games. On the "defense side," a sideways open Double Box provides a defensible location for asymmetric games like One Flag and One Bomb.

Interrobang's weapons were chosen and placed to take advantage of Blackout's darkness, so prepare for a frenzy of color as Fuel Rod Gun bursts counter Spartan Laser blasts, and the Sentinel Beam, Needler, Plasma Rifles, and Plasma Pistol duel in the night sky. The map's combat is unlike most maps' in that players must engage their foes while also watching where they walk, as bad footing will lead to a miserable death in the icy cold waters of Blackout. Falling to your death is fairly common on Interrobang, so watch your step!
